Jonathan has a wide background experience from civil service administration at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew to running his own business. He and his family have lived, worked and volunteered in Gloucestershire for almost ten years.
He has a keen interest in nature and the environment, having worked and volunteered for the RSPB and other conservation agencies. Now semi-retired he is currently volunteering with Stroud Valleys Project and Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetland and keeps a close eye on both national and local issues.
Jonathan joined Cam Parish Council in 2019 and has served as Vice-Chair of the Recreation and Leisure committee as well as being a member of all the other committees including Planning and Highways. As someone who believes in public consultations, he is passionate about delivering what the local community requested at Jubilee Fields.
Jonathan steers the Rackleaze Area for Nature project and volunteers at the site with the Stroud Valleys Project working parties.
As Chair of Council, he aims to bring fresh energy to the role and looks forward to continuing the community involvement and outreach already championed by his predecessors.
