Christmas is already in our thoughts and plans and we are very excited to announce that the annual Cam Christmas Lights Switch on will take place on Saturday 25 November 2023 from 2pm.

Poppy man George's call for volunteers!

Poppy man George's call for volunteers!

A symbolic handmade poppy man who is a regular sight around Cam during Remembrance commemorations is looking for volunteers to help move him around the village.

George, the life-sized Army veteran made of red felt poppies, and his horse, Flanders, made of purple poppies, has been adopted by Cam Parish Council after his creator, Dave Denning, decided to hand over the mantle.

YOUNG volunteers are needed for a litter busting clean-up around Woodfield play area in Cam.

Youth experts The Door and Cam Parish Council have joined forces to offer a community volunteering session especially for young people.

Road closure - Wooded Lane

Please be advised of the following closure:

Woodend Lane, Cam

This road will be closed (as per the attached plan) from 24/07/2023 to 28/07/2023 to allow for installation of the Gigaclear network by Gigaclear.

Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained.
