As a result of Covid-19 restrictions, the British Legion, Churches and the Parish Council won't be holding the usual Remembrance Parade and Service on Remembrance Sunday at the War Memorial this year. Cam Parish Council has reviewed the guidance from Government relating to play areas and have taken the decision to restrict the use of play equipment during the lockdown with immediate effect.

There are currently two vacancies for Parish Councillors in Cam.

You can become a councillor as long as you are:

  • British or a citizen of the Commonwealth or European Union
  • At least 18 years old
  • Registered to vote in the area or have lived, worked or owned property there for at least 12 months before an election.

Cam Stiles Replaced with Kissing Gates

FIVE crumbling stiles in the Ashmead Green area of Cam have been replaced with kissing gates to create a stile-free route for walkers.
