PLAY PARKS IN CAM OPEN AGAIN
CAM'S play areas opened again on Saturday after many weeks of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Woodfields Play Park, Cam Green and Jubilee Playing Field all reopened for local people to enjoy. But Cam Parish Council warned people to take sensible measures to protect themselves from the virus.

Temporary Road Closures
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule attached.

Litter at Jubilee Fields
The warm weather and Government restrictions have meant that the Jubilee Fields in Cam are more popular than ever with people making the most of the open space and beautiful walk.
However, this increase in use has also resulted in an increase in litter.

Cam's Neighbourhood Development Plan - approved by Stroud District Council
Cam Parish Council are pleased to announce that Cam's Neighbourhood Development Plan was approved by the Environment Committee at Stroud District Council at their meeting on 4th June. It can now progress to Referendum

Green spaces update
Please find the latest update from the Government regarding green spaces.
The outdoor gym, play areas and skate park at Jubilee Field all remain closed.
Social distancing of 2m must also be observed.

Repointing of steps at Hopton Green War Memorial, Cam, GL11 5PA
Cam Parish Council is inviting quotes for repairs to the stone steps leading to the war memorial at Hopton Green in Cam. There are 13 steps leading to the listed war memorial and five steps on each side of it. Many of these steps need attention to the following specification:
- Raking out and repointing of damaged steps.
- Making good of cracks.
- Repair/patching of damaged steps.
