Clearance work at Rackleaze Nature Area
Clearance work is due to take place at Rackleaze Nature Area in Cam, starting Tuesday 9 February. The public footpath will remain open but the boardwalk will be closed for the duration of the work.
An area of overgrown vegetation and dense scrub is being cleared from the site. This will be done in a sensitive way by ecological landscapers JPR Environmental of Stonehouse to ensure that any wildlife will be able to move and relocate. No chemicals will be used on the site.
The clearance work is part of Cam Parish Council's vision to improve Rackleaze Nature Area, which is an important feeding site for birds, bats and insects.
Would you like to be part of this vision? We're looking for green volunteers to help us make a difference to Rackleaze Nature Area. If you're interested please ring 01453 548884 or email email@example.com
