Cam decorated with poppies ahead of Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday

The War Memorial on Hopton Green and the Cam Village Centre including the Lower Cam War Memorial, verges at Cam Pitch and the area outside the Cam Parish Council Office and Froffy Coffee have been decorated with poppies ahead of Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.

Crocheted and knitted poppies have been a tradition since the first 'yarn-bombing' in 2018 and have been complimented this year by spray painted poppies on the grass. Cam Parish Councils handyman, David Howse striped the grass and painted freehand poppies.

Vice-Chair of Council Miranda Clifton and Councillor Scott Temlett will lay wreaths during the Memorial Service on Sunday.
