CROWDS of people turned out to enjoy Cam's community light switch on and take part in the family friendly activities all along the High Street.

A fun-fair was set up along with pony rides, a bouncy castle, street food and a whole host of craft stalls. Father Christmas was in his magical grotto in Cam Parish Council greeting excited children.

The lights were officially switched on by Cllr Jon Fulcher, chair of Cam Parish Council, and will be sparkling in the trees around the car park in Noel Lee Way and along the High Street throughout the festive season.
