Our exciting plans for a free family fun day at Jubilee Playing Field to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles lll start at 11am with the ceremony broadcast live on big screens.
The event will take place on Saturday 6th May, from 11.00am – 5.00pm.
We are planning a wide range of activities and hope to offer everyone a little something to enjoy, including: pony rides, a community dog show, games, competitions, face painting and food stalls!
We hope that you will join us on the day and celebrate this national event with us.
We are promoting 'ditch the car, it's not far' as part of our marketing campaign for this event to encourage residents to walk.
We will have professional clearly visible stewards and security in place on the day, who can be contacted in person should any issues arise.
a small number of disabled parking spaces will be available.
As part of our free family fun day to celebrate the coronation on Saturday 6 May, 12.00pm - 5.00pm at Jubilee Playing Field, we will be hosting a fancy-dress competition 
To enter, visit the Cam Parish Council stand on the day at 2.30pm to register and for the judging!
There will be a community litter pick of the Jubilee Playing Field on Sunday 7th May, please let us know if you would like to join us by contacting info@camparishcouncil.gov.uk
We need your help to dress Cam & Dursley in colourful bunting for the King's Coronation.Bunting Kits are available from our office and other supporting venues. Please call in to collect your pack which contains binding and flags to sew, stick or staple your own bunting at home.
As part of our preparations and to mark this historic moment, Cam Parish Council will be giving away small packets of wild flower seeds. Packets will be given to the local schools and will also be available at our stand during the event on Saturday 6th May.
If you would like a packet of seeds, please call into the office to collect.
